We need an adverb "typically" to change the adjective "English".

We need the preposition "of" to join "position" and the name of the job.

3. I’m really looking forward to see you again soon.

3. I'm really looking forward to seeing you again soon.
We use a gerund (-ing form) after "look forward to".

4. We went out despite of the bad weather.

4. We went out in spite of the bad weather.
We use either "despite" or "in spite of" to join the first clause to the noun phrase.

5. Nowdays all newspaper are full of stories about celebrities.

5. Nowadays, all newspapers are full of stories about celebrities.
The word "nowadays" has a letter "a" in the middle.

6. I am writting to you regarding to your advertisment for a waitress.

6. I am writing to you regarding your advertisement for a waitress.
We do not need the preposition "to" after "regarding".

7. At the week-end I relax, and make some shopping with some friends.

7. At the week-end I relax anddo some shopping with some friends.
We use the verb "do" before "shopping".

8. One of the reason why I came here is to practis my English.

8. One of the reasons I came here is to practise my English.
There are many "reasons" and this is one of them.

9. This is a great opportunity to improve and learn something intresting.

9. This is a great opportunity to improve and learn something interesting.
Notice the spelling of "interesting".

10. Untill now I haven’t seen much of the country.

10. Up until now I haven't seen much of the country.
We never say "until now". Instead write "so far" or "up until now".

11. I’m really keen to brush up my knowledge in English.

11. I'm really keen to brush up my knowledge of English.
We use the preposition "of" after knowledge.

12. I can't wait to get back to life as normal in Sweden.

This page is to help English students from Sweden or if your first language is Swedish. In the past many Swedish students have come to our school to learn English. These are some of their errors. Look through these sentences. Eleven of them contain typical mistakes that Swedish learners make when they speak or write English. One of the sentences is correct. The mistakes are in grammar, vocabulary, spelling and logic. Some sentences have many mistakes and some sentences have only one error.
