Our students come from many different countries They speak many different first languages. We have noticed that
speakers of one language often make the same mistakes in their speaking and their writing.
On these pages, you can find typical mistakes from speakers of fifteen different languages. Each page has twelve
sentences. One of them is correct. The other eleven each contain one or more errors.
When you finish looking at the page for your language you can ask us to send you more typical errors in the same
language. For each language, we have another two or three pages.
