On these pages, you will find some free exercises that you can use to practice your English. The teachers at
The Language Project have written these questions especially for this web site. So you won't
find the same questions in any English course book.
Altogether, there are more than one hundred and fifty pages of practice exercises. Each page contains twelve questions. So that's over
1,800 practice questions!!
If your computer has Javascript, you will see interactive questions. You can choose answers and when you click on the score button, you will
see your score and your correct and wrong questions. Then, you can try the exercise again until you get the questions all right.
If your computer does not have Javascript, you will see the same twelve questions, but there are no buttons and the correct answers are
written at the bottom of the page.
Teachers: You can now print specially formatted "Printable Question Pages" that you can use in class. Each page of questions has been
specially formatted so that it should fit onto one sheet of A4 paper when you print it (depending on your browser and computer). To find a
printable page, select the page from the list on the
Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced pages. Then, follow the "Print This Page" link at the top and bottom of the page.
What Kind Of Exercises Are There?
The exercises are organized into three different levels, as shown below. Each level contains grammar, vocabulary and phrase exercises.
You can click on one of the levels to see a
list of exercises for your level. If you need to change level there are links on each page for you to do that.
Beginner / Elementary
Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate
Upper Intermediate / Advanced
