About Our Exam Centre
The Language Project is now the main provider of Cambridge UCLES exams for the Bristol area. We organize the exam rooms
where the exams happen and our staff invigilate (watch candidates while they do the tests). We also send you your results after the exams
have been marked.
Depending on the number of people taking each exam, the exams either take place at Redland Methodist Church or in our own school
building (see maps below). We will tell you which building you need to go to when we send
you your candidate number before the day of your exam.
Cambridge / UCLES Exams
We offer all of the UCLES suite of English exams for non-native speakers. The exams take place two or three times a year depending on level. For
more details of exam content and length of each paper, visit the Cambridge exams page or
this page at the UCLES web site. For
more details about specific exam dates, see the dates and prices page.
Two or thre times a year, we offer all of the following exams:
KET - Key English Test, a pre-intermediate test
PET - Preliminary English Test, an intermediate test
FCE - First Certificate in English, an upper-intermediate test
CAE - Certificate of Advanced English, an advanced-level test
CPE - Certificate of Profifiency in English, a very advanced test
Trinity Exams
The Trinity ESOL spoken grade exams are organised into 12 grades starting with grades 1-3 at "Initial" level and going up to grades 10-12 at "Advanced" level.
For more information about these tests, have a look at our Trinity Exams page or
visit this page at
the Trinity ESOL web site.
