Small Business Accounting Outline

This accounting course is for a small business, not-for-profit or club, or anyone wanting to understand financial statements.
This online course is designed for:

  •  Individuals who desire an accounts position
  •  Individuals currently in an accounts role, who would like to gain a qualification
  • Small business owners who require accountancy skills and knowledge

Presented in plain language, Small Business Accounting course will give you a sound knowledge of the theory and practice of bookkeeping and business accounting.
This online training course will enable you to analyse and interpret a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. You will also gain an understanding of financial reporting, profitability analysis, and grasp the principles of budgeting and forecasting.

This course has been developed our accounting tutor, Daniel Hunt. Daniel is a highly qualified Chartered Accountant and Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). Daniel is also involved in writing accounting and taxation course material for the UK Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).

Assignments

Each lesson culminates in an assignment which is submitted to the school, marked by the school’s tutors and returned to you with any relevant suggestions, comments, and if necessary, extra reading.
