There is so much to see and do in Bristol. On your first day at The Language Project, we will give you a list of 50 things to do.
To give you an idea of what is available, here are the first twenty things on that list.

| 1 | Take a walk over the Clifton Suspension Bridge and enjoy the view. |
| 2 | Eat fish and chips from one of our many fish and chip shops. |
| 3 | Shop in a famous department store - Debenhams, Marks and Spencer, House of Frazer, British Homes Stores |
| 4 | Have a swim, sauna and massage at The Swallow Royal Hotel. |
| 5 | Spend an evening listening to live music in a pub (eg. The Old Duke in King Street) - there are dozens of free concerts every night. |
| 6 | Try a traditional English Breakfast - you certainly won't need to eat any lunch! |
| 7 | Go for a walk on The Downs - or go jogging there! |
| 8 | Watch a local cricket match on a village green on a summer evening, or rugby or football in the winter. |
| 9 | See an arthouse film at The Watershed or The Arnolfini, or a popular movie at the Showcase or the Odeon in the town centre. |
| 10 | Enjoy walking around the historic docks. |
| 11 | Visit the SS Great Britain and see Bristol Blue Glass being made. |
| 12 | Walk around the beautiful Cathedral when the choirs are practising.

| 14 | Go to Castle Green and see the old Castle. |
| 15 | Try hot-air ballooning (for £100+!). |
| 16 | Watch the kite-flyers on the Downs and at Ashton Court on Sundays. |
| 17 | Buy the Sunday newspapers and read through them. |
| 18 | Have a walk and a picnic in beautiful Ashton Court. |
| 19 | Eat in an Indian restaurant. There are hundreds in Bristol. |
| 20 | Visit a local cider pub - The Coronation Tap in Clifton (8 Sion Place). |
